Quality Affordable Homes for Arlington’s Seniors

Culpepper Garden includes two independent senior living facilities with 273 apartments.  Ours is the largest low-income retirement property in the area, and the only one that offers a dining plan.

Our assisted living facility, the first HUD-subsidized, assisted living community in the nation, provides an additional 73 apartments for residents who need 24-hour supportive services and help with activities of daily living.

Residents pay rent based on their individual incomes and have the option of selecting our affordable meal service for an additional charge.  A mix of resources, including subsidies from the federal government, our partnership with Arlington County, and vital contributions from our donors, ensure quality housing and care so that no assisted living resident has ever had to leave Culpepper Garden due to lack of funds alone.
