Resident Services
The Resident Services Department provides a variety of support services to improve residents’ independence and quality of life by linking them with the resources and services they need. The resident services team includes two service coordinators who provide wellness-related programs, assist residents with individual needs and connect residents to Arlington County and other community services.
Services provided include:
- Assistance enrolling in benefit and entitlement programs
- Medical assistance with helping to make appointments, arranging home medical equipment, providing information on home health services and adult day care options
- Educational and emotional support
- Money management assistance, renter’s insurance and referrals
- Comprehensive resource guide with information and links to a wide variety of services and programs available for residents
- Assistance with accessing Medicare counseling, legal aid, federal and County benefit programs
- Scheduled transportation
- Advocacy and confidentiality
